Learn to Fly

Flight training is a great endeavor, just like any dream it takes devotion, time, and desire. Any age student can fly with an instructor. You must be 16 years old to solo in an aircraft and 17 to receive your pilot’s certificate. Pilots who start the program and log flight time two to three times a week can expect to finish their private pilot’s certificate within four months. Students who schedule fewer hours can expect to take more time completing their pilot’s certificate. The national average for pilot certification is about 60 hours. Regardless of the amount of time it takes, every pilot wants to know they have received the very best training and are equipped to handle all kinds of situations.

Why Image

As a pilot I have had the pleasure of seeing many different local and distant flight schools in operation. The majority of schools are filled with the most basic flight instructors, who simply exist to build up enough time for them to make it to a commercial airline. Once an instructor reaches 1,000 hours, he or she qualifies to apply to a commercial airline, and they moved on, leaving their students high and dry. These schools operate with older basic aircraft. Finding a flight school that employs flight instructors who love their work, and a school that uses new, high technology aircraft can be difficult. However, this is why Image Aviation Services, Inc. excels. Not only are we going to give you the best aircraft with the latest design and newest avionics but we will provide you with an instructor that will take you through every step of your training. When choosing a flight school you should be looking for one that will give you what you need as a student. This decision should be based on safety, comfort, reliance, and trust in the company that you are training with.
